On this final September Friday, take an 18-minute break to watch this video about the restoration of the former Institute Hall in Natchez. The film chronicles the building’s history beginning in the early mid-1800s to its recent renovation and conversion into a U.S. Courthouse that was completed in 2007. The 1853 building is one of more than 200 legacy buildings under GSA’s stewardship. The film was part of GSA’s efforts to support Executive Order 13287, “Preserve America,” which encourages Americans to explore and enjoy our nation’s heritage.
