Today we honor all Mississippians who have served, here or abroad, in wars hot or cold, and especially those who have trained and worked at Keesler Air Force Base,( as seen in this pre-Katrina aerial image that includes the back of the old Sharkheads in the foreground).
Keesler is home to the 81st Training Wing, one of Air Education and Training Command’s largest technical training wings.
