Beginning Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. the Friends of Mont Helena will begin selling tickets for the 2013 performances of Mont Helena:A Dream Revisted.
This year the performances will be held over five weekends.
- April 4, 5, 6
- April 11,12,13
- April 18,19,20
- April 25,26,27
- May 2, 3, 4
Tickets are $65 each.
Tickets can only be obtained by calling 662-873-2602 this Saturday.

Preservation in Mississippi 
I was fortunate enough to get through the very busy 8 phone lines on Saturday the 23rd and booked 6 tickets for the May 2 performance. I was told, at 9:40 am, that there were only a few remaining tickets and they were all for Thursday night performances! Popular, to say the least …!!

I have tickets for Friday, April 19. What time does the tour/program begin? I will driving from Clinton, MS. Is lunch provided or could you recommend a place to eat?

If you received your tickets in the mail, there is a letter accompanying them with all the information you are asking about. The program begins at 7:30 pm, but you have to be at the house by about 7:00-7:10 so that you are not left outside when the doors close at 7:15 pm. There are a few places to eat nearby, including the Farmer’s Grocery (www.farmersgrocery.net), Subway, The Onward Store (about 13 miles South of Rolling Fork … see http://www.theonwardstore.com). There is also Chuck’s Dairy Bar on Hwy 61 and Bumpers Drive In. Guess it depends on what you are in the mood for. Best of luck getting there for the great evening that waits for us!! They said they would be serving heavy hors d’oeuvres between acts of the play — sometime around 8:30 pm or maybe a bit later, but eating your supper first was suggested.
