It sure is! Regions Bank had until recently occupied the building but they are moving out of downtown Hattiesburg to a rural campus, so reuse plans for the (former) Forrest Hotel are already underway.

always nice to see a view of a building in ‘the hub city’. the postcard is interesting in that the hotel would appear to be standing ‘alone’, and, in fact, it is in the center of the older part of the city: you have featured a number of nearby buildings(like the similarly art-deco/moderne post office, across pine street, behind the viewer) in previous posts.. many hattiesburg ‘events’ happened here! it is wonderful that it is still standing, and i hope it’s next re-incarnation will be successful.
