Preservation in Mississippi 
What a place it was! So sad that it couldn’t be put back after Katrina. Heartbreaking to remember how one day on the calendar destroyed the lives of so many wonderful people and the places where they lived, worked and played.

Judging by the number of vehicles parked out there the fishing is still good. Just don’t eat anything caught inside the marina bulkhead. I would assume years of anti-fouling paint have left it pretty toxic.

I have a lot of great memories from the Broadwater’s glory days. At the end, the benefit of the ancient shag carpet still in the rooms was that it
slowed down the roaches enough to step on most of them when you turned on the lights.
