Ever dreamed of exploring America’s rich architectural heritage with a group of fun, like-minded preservationists? It is your lucky day! The Historic Natchez Foundation is offering a six day trip to the Brandywine River Valley from May 13-18. As a nice perk for members of the Mississippi Heritage Trust, the Historic Natchez Foundation is treating us like their own and waiving the required membership fee. Stroll through the magnificent gardens of Longwood and gaze with wonder at the incomparable collection of the Barnes Foundation (no relation, sadly). And who would want to miss nibbling their way through the mushroom capital of the world? The tour is sure to sell out, as did their recent sojourn to the Hudson River Valley, which by all accounts was a rip-roaring good time as well as a fun history lesson. So, don’t delay!
