Preservation in Mississippi 
The furniture, the lamps, the color scheme, Home Ec. . . there is no way to explain the classes we took to youth of today. It was a course of study to enhance the beauty of our homes and lives during the 60’s. Does it exist today?

The “couchettes” could be put together on the flat end so as to make a LONG sofa with rounded ends. We had one similar. It was two sections but one end was the end with an arm and the rounded end was curved so as to fit in a corner. Loved it. We as kids would make “forts” in the corner behind the curved section.
