Quote is by St. Catherine; is it at St. Catherine’s Village?

No, but there is a saint involved.

Thank goodness; St. Catherine’s Village didn’t really make much sense in this context.

You get a point, btw, for identifying the quote, even though the 2-point location is still a mystery.

It must be some sort of ecclesiastical building but the only ones I can think of that are tan stucco are the Catholic Churches in Aberdeen and Philadelphia and the Methodist Church in Leland. And the quote is not from any of them.

I can’t come up with anything either, and I have tried everything I know, short of a road trip throughout the state of Mississippi. Malvaney must be elated.

But it was the vinyl soffit that gave it away.

Saint Therese Academy, of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church,19th Street Gulfport. The academy building faces 18th street. Built ca. 1932, St. Therese Academy was Gulfport’s black catholic school. I cannot verify it but I believe I remember reading that Collins Brothers Contracting Company built the structure, and possibly the entire campus.
Mark 10.14 is the other quote on the front of the school house.
