While we’re all watching Irene slide up the East Coast, you might want to read up on the memorial at Ground Zero in New York City, now reaching completion in preparation for its opening on September 12. The Chicago Tribune’s Cityscape blog took a tour of the memorial and gives us a first look with real pictures rather than renderings and also an update about the new office buildings going up on the site.
