I&#039;m doing a re-design to begin the second year of MissPres with a new theme, and I thought Durant would be in the same vein as last year&#039;s Bailey Jr. High, but maybe not as well-known. I love that building!</description>

		<description>Glad to see the Durant School photo.  My grandfather - Tom Gore - was one of the carpenters for this great structure.  He told a great story about how he obtained most of his jobs during the depression.  He had his own tools which he took from job to job. He would go to the job site and simply fall in and work with the crew for a full day.  At the end of the day, he would ask whomever was in charge -- &quot;You&#039;ve seen my work - now do you want to hire me?&quot;....   They never said no.</description>
